CHANGE

They say change is the constant thing in this world.

TRUE or FALSE? Well, decide for yourself. As for me, below are the lists of my observations concerning the word CHANGE:

As to TECHNOLOGY:
it's obvious, it is fast changing. Cellphones, computers, etcetera, is really moving to a high-level every minute. If you buy a cellphone today simultaneously there's also another innovations of a higher technology than the one you bought and after less than a year or more your cellphone will be outdated.

As to our CULTURE:
hahaha, i think its a little bit slow. Last night at Starbucks, Ayala after having dinner with Prof. Domondon and his wife, together with my colleagues, Atty. Zigfred Diaz(www.zdiaz.com), Atty. Louella Matsumoto and soon to be lawyer Nolito Dayanan, (members of the paretonites-www.lexparetonotes.blogspot.com), talked about our culture. We are under so many countries, like Spain for 300 years, Americans for 100 years, and etcetera, results are that Filipinos have different attitudes. What are those, it's time to review your history...hehehe. Anyway, the big question is, IS IT TIME TO CHANGE, HOW?

As to our JUSTICE SYSTEM:
they say, justice delayed is justice denied. How are we progressing, in our justice system?
There are different scenarios here. First as a law student, we are taught to follow the law for us to pass the bar. Second as a lawyer, are we following the law? Some say, oh new lawyers are very idealistic, they always want to do what's right,(then why are we here, for me it's because we want to do right, RIGHT? Haha, it's confusing). They say, just go with the flow anyway they are doing it also and they are successful, are they until when? I remember what one of the famous Professor said, “Let them be who they are because if you oppose them your the one who will suffer (i think they are many...hehehe...gets?), just don't join them so that the result will be minus one[you], (that's right the one-you, go and multiply), sooner or later the crooked will be outnumbered (question is WHEN). He also said, i always believe in karma. (it's also written “What you sow is what you reaped”). Which side are you?

As to our PERSONAL LIFE or should we say our ATTITUDES:
some asked, why do we need to change ME, what for? They are the ones whose doing the wrong thing so why should i change. Sounds familiar, it's like just in the garden of eden, when Jesus said to Adam and Eve, why do you eat the fruit of the tree that i command you not to eat and Adam said, it's Eve the woman you gave me, and then Eve said, no it's because the serpent tempt me...hehehe...pointing fingers. Do we have that kind of attitude? I think so, we inherited it from them unless we repented from it and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. It is washed away when Jesus said on the cross, it is finished. Does it sounds corny, no don't think so, it's sounds right. What do you think?

Enough of the As to's, there are many to mention. My point is we have to change. If we want to live a peaceful and happy life let's advocate change and it will start from each one of us. There are many ways to change but let's choose THE RIGHT WAY and pray for wisdom how to apply it. It's time to walk what we talk.

Whats your point?
